Bio-resonance according to Paul Schmidt is based on the theory, that every organism sends out oscillations which form oscillation patterns all around. Disturbed oscillation patterns point to an energetic deficit, which can be detected and harmonised.
Today, the diagnosis and therapy method Paul Schmidt developed nearly 30 years ago, is commonly and used.
Sunlight is the oldest kind of bio-resonance. Light is none other than electro-magnetic radiation, composed of different electro-magnetic wavelengths. If ultra-violet light with a wavelength of 200 nm to 400 nm hits our skin, regulations which lead to pigment or vitamin D formation are triggered. We may use the term frequency instead of wavelength. Beside these frequencies of ultra-violet light, there are many other frequencies which affect the body.
Initially, this kind of development led to devices for reducing electric smog, geopathic pollution and water conditioning.
In recent years, bio-resonance has proved to be the optimal measuring instrument for the development of food supplements and cosmetics. Using this system, one can inspect the influence of a substance or a mixture of substances on the physiological oscillation patterns of the body. For instance, it can easily be seen, whether an applied preparation leads to harmonisation or disturbance of the energetic structures.
This was the basis of development for new energetically optimised products with a high dietary advantage.
Vital substances are essential nutrients including minerals, trace elements and vitamins needed for optimal functioning of our metabolism. Our body must absorb these vital substances with our food.They cannot be produced by the organism itself. Pollutants, however, and food additives, food treatment with heat and preservation, inevitably decrease the amount of vital substances that our food contains. Furthermore the polluting acids which rob our vital substance reserves are increasing day by day. We know of approximately 400 different strains of bacteria. Our organism contains ten times more bacteria than body cells. Bacteria live with us in a symbiotic relationship. When babies are born, they are sterile. During the birth process and while feeding from their mother?s breast they receive the bacteria which inhabit our intestines. Many influences, however, disturb this process even during infancy.Environmental pollution, a bad diet, medicines, preservatives and antibiotics in particular, destroy 99.9% of all bacteria in our body, not forgetting physical and mental stress.
The Body Needs a Healthy Intestinal Flora
Healthy intestinal flora performs important tasks in our metabolism and immune system, improving our power of defence and keeping harmful bacteria in our intestines controlled. Many undesirable substances absorbed from the air that we breath or the food that we eat finally end up in our intestines, where they are neutralised by our intestinal flora.
A healthy intestinal flora supports the barrier function of the intestinal mucous membrane against digestion-induced poisons and substances working as allergens, thus preventing unwanted substances from entering the blood circulation.
A healthy digestion needs a well-balanced intestinal flora. A healthy digestion is important for the reception and formation of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. A healthy intestinal flora is even able to produce several vitally important vitamins itself (vitamins B1, B2, B12, folic acid, biotin, pantothen, ...).

The fermenting and acidic substances produced by the negative bacteria put a strain on the metabolism and particularly affect the mucous membrane. Normally, the intestinal mucous membrane is a dense mesh network, preventing large molecules from passing through. If the flora of the intestines consist mainly of wrong bacteria, the mesh starts widening, due to the constant strain placed upon it, allowing more and larger molecules to pass through.Thus the undesirable catabolic products of the bacteria push their way into the blood circulation. Immediate results are a weakening of the immune system, approximately 80% of the immune system has a relationship with the intestines.Every tenth cell of the intestines is a lymphatic immune cell. If the intestines accomodate the wrong type of bacteria over a long period of time, the immune cells are destroyed, their functions lost. The mucous membranes of the intestines are no longer able to defend themselves against bacteria, parasites and, worst of all, fungi. This phenomenon is also called ?Leaky-Gut-Syndrome?. Leaky intestines are no longer able to produce a sufficient amount of immune cells.

There are other sources of acids besides the wrong colonisation in the intestines. Our body is flooded with acids.
The greatest part of these acids come from food. Strangely enough, acid tasting food is not really the main problem. Crucial for balance are the nutrients which generate acids in the body: white flour, meat, cheese, tinned fruits, chocolate, sugar, sweets, alcohol and drinks containing caffine.
Alkalis are very rare in our food, even in the diet of health-concious people. Pollutants, fuel exhaust substances, pesticides destroy the alkali reserves in our soil and this affects the crops:the fruit and vegetables, normally rich in alkalis, can no longer neutralise acids sufficiently.
Acids are also often the results of numerous metabolic processes, partially arising as an intermediate product, partially as a final product, for instance uric acids from cell disintegration, lactic acids from muscle action, ...
And we must not underestimate a further source of acid production: the constant straining and overtaxing of our nerves. Stress and the pace of life overbalance the equilibrium of our inner milieu.
Acids are associated with sourness.
The chemical definition, however, does not refer to the taste.Here, the compounds with a positively charged particle, the hydrogen ion (H+), are called acids. Alkalis are chemical compounds containing a negatively charged hydroxyl group (OH-).
If the H+ ions are dominant in a solution, it is acidic, but if they are outnumbered by OH ions, the liquid is alkaline. Due to their chemical composition, acids and alkalis are opposites. The body needs them both as antagonists. If an acid molecule meets with a alkali molecule, they turn into a neutral salt molecule, which cannot harm the body and is excreted without any problems.
Example:
If hydrochloric acid (HCL) and caustic soda (NaOH) mix, they are transformed into sodium chloride (NaCL), which is common table salt. Chlorine is the compound responsible for the acidic character of hydrochloric acid, sodium makes caustic soda alkali.

The strength of acids and alkalis is defined by pH value.The pH scale goes from 0 to 14, with 7 as the neutral point. All values below 7 signify acids, those above 7 are alkali.The further away from 7, the stronger the acid or the alkali. The strength is increased step in steps by a factor of 10. An acid with a pH value of 4 is 10 times stronger than an acid with pH 5.
The pH value is not only used used for characterising alkalis, but often also the term ?buffer effect?. The buffering effect describes the ability of an alkali to take up (?buffer?) acids and temper their effects in order to maintain the pH value.
Many of the reactions taking place in our body need certain conditions and relationships if we want them to function properly.These can be temperature, the presence of substances or pH value. Here, the limits of tolerance are very exacting.
The activity of more than 2000 enzymes (?biocatalysts?) and hormones, together with the complete metabolic activity, relies upon the pH value in the tissue of the body. The work of our muscles and nerves, the vitally important building-up and decomposition processes in all body cells all rely on certain pH values, and every individual part of the body, every body fluid has its own definite pH value, which must be maintained.
A steady, slightly alkaline pH value of the blood, the main means of transportation for all kinds of chemical substances, is of immense importance.Only the extremely small range between 7.37 and 7.43 is optimal.
The acid and alkaline concentration must be exactly right, with the alkaline components prevailing over the acids. The digestive organs, particularly the liver, gall bladder, colon and small intestines, depend upon a alkaline milieu.Therefore, they are sometimes called the alkaline organs.
The blood has so-called buffer systems to temper the effects of the acids for example bicarbonate ions, proteins (i.e. albumin), phosphates and the red blood corpuscles.Buffer systems maintain the easily disturbed acid-base balance constantly, however the relentless flood of acids finally overtaxes these buffer systems. The acidic surplus is deposited in tissue, particularly muscles, cells and connective tissue.
If you wish to search for traces of super-acidity by testing the pH value of the urine use test strips (litmus or indicator paper) to dip into the urine; the colour change indicates the pH value.One single test, however, is not sufficient.
Back in 1953, Sander, a pioneer in acid-base interaction research, described a urine test method still applied to this day in his book: Der Säure-Basen-Haushalt im menschlichen Organismus (published by Hippokrates Verlag).
He suggested a urine test with 5 samples, collected at 7.00, 10.00, 12.00 a.m., 3.00 and 6.00 p.m., before meals. Urine samples of a healthy person have the following pH values:
An organism which is not over-acidic has a rhythmic change of pH-value in the urine during the day, ideal would be a value above pH 7 at least once a day.
The acidic metabolic waste products of the night are excreted with the morning urine at 7.00 a.m., therefore, the pH value of the morning urine is low.
After a meal, when digestion is started, a release of alkalis takes place in a healthy body. This can be noted at 10.00 a.m.

This can hardly be called a rhythmic alteration of the pH-value.The body is totally over-acidic and tries to neutralise by excreting via urine.
The blood is also suitable for analysis and evaluation but the pH value of the blood plasm is not representative of the acidic degree of the tissue.

Diet adjustments are a pre-condition for rebalancing the acid-base metabolism and rebuilding the intestinal flora.

Nowadays, it is not easy to maintain a diet with a surplus of alkalis. Preservation, heat treatment, environmental toxins and herbicides endanger the quality of our food. We tend to eat less variety, therefore nutrition is no longer well balanced.
An optimal diet is composed of 80% of alkali-forming and 20% of acid-forming foods.
Fermentative processes lead to flatulence and restrict the growth of healthy bacteria.
It is impossible to completely remove acid-forming foods. It is not even desirable to do so. Roughage consists of carbohydrates which cannot be broken down in the small intestines, therefore they reach the colon unaltered. Roughage can only be found in vegetables. Roughage leads to gas formation and a feeling of fullness for many people, especially if the intestinal flora is colonised with the wrong type of bacteria.
Roughage is a good breeding ground for healthy bacteria and should be steadily increased in the diet.

Sugar should be reduced to an absolute minimum. Sugar is the main energy supplier for fermentative bacteria and fungi, and also one of the strongest acidifiers.
Preservatives extend shelf life by inhibiting bacterial growth. Preservatives are indifferent to the kind of bacteria they are attacking, therefore they also harm positive bacteria in the intestinal flora. Even the so-called ?natural aromas? are not useful to our health.They are almost exclusively produced by mould fungi.
The type of diet acceptable for a healthy person is not intended for an ailing person. The diet information listed here is intended for persons who want or need to balance their acid-base metabolism and build up their intestinal flora. Rayobase®plus - an Energetically Optimised Alkaline Preparation
Most manufacturers of alkaline mineral preparations select their mineral compounds according to one criterion alone ? the buffer effect. Carbonic acid (H2CO3) buildup in the cells is changed back into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) in the lung. Skin
Acids also leave the organism via the skin and the mucous membrane.Upon their exit, they generate the so-called protective layer of the skin, which forms a barrier against bacteria.
Kidneys
The central organs of acid excretion are the kidneys.They are responsible for the acids which are less volatile, whereas the uric acids arising from the protein breakdown are a special problem. It has an unfavourable solubility, that is, only a limited amount of uric acid can be excreted in a certain urine volume. The kidneys cannot freely excrete acids. They have an excretion barrier from the pH value 4.4 to a maximum of 4. The tissue of the kidneys would be corroded by excessive acid contents of the urine.
Therefore the kidneys must be relieved. Here is where Rayosole can help. Alkaline baths and foot baths are able to improve acid excretion via the skin.
The pH value of a purification bath is of special importance.It should be definitely higher than the pH value of the blood (7.37-7.43). A pH value of 8 is good, but 8.5 ? 9 is optimal. The following description of an experiment in the laboratory proves, that pre-biotic support is also required under normal conditions.
Fish excreta was examined on its germination index. As expected, many negative germs were found: salmonella bacilli, colibacteria, fungi,.... The fish excreta was mashed to pulp, inoculated with effective microorganisms and stored in an incubator at a temperature of 37°C for 24 hours. What was
hoped for occured: the effective microorganisms were able to destroy most of the pathogens, while those remaining were reduced to beneath the detection limit. The stench of the fish pulp was noticeably reduced. However as soon as the healthy bacteria had used up all their nutrition and energy, their number began to diminish while the population of the bad germs started growing again. This experiment from the laboratory makes it clear that pre-biotic microorganisms should be taken continually for the protection of a healthy intestinal flora. We need pre-biotic support, even in ?normal? conditions. The habit of Eastern Russian people to drink kefir with lactic acids every day gives further proof that the frequent intake of pre-biotic nutrients is a boost for our health. It is said that Eastern Russians live a long and healthy life.

Rayobase®plus
Rayobase®plus is the energetic concept of a basic mineral preparation in gel form as a daily nutrition supplement. Minerals are vitally important, the human organism cannot work without them. They detoxicate by binding surplus acids and neutralising them.
Besides the minerals potassium, calcium and magnesium, Rayobase®plus also contains the trace element zinc. Zinc plays an important part in carrying the acids away.
A ready-to-drink solution of Rayobase®plus has a high alkaline pH-value. A high pH-value causes a strong polar activity, which can result in a rapid resorption and mild regulation of the acid-base balance.

Shake the bottle well before use. Take one measuring spoon full of Rayobase®plus for one glass of luke-warm water (approx. 250ml). Stir the water-gel mixture with the measuring spoon.
Complete dissolution is not required.
Rayosole is the energetic conception of a sensitive bath additive made of natural mineral salts, precious stones and alkaline components. Rayosole is suitable for alkaline baths and foot baths and for saline packings or saline stockings. Due to its alkaline pH-value of approx.8.5*, acids are excreted from the body through the skin during a bath in Rayosole and passed on to the water. The main application of Rayosole are baths and foot baths. For a Rayosole bath, please add one bag of Rayosole (1x500g) to 100 litres of warm water. For a Rayosole-footbath, you need approximately 50g of Rayosole in 10 litres of warm water. The bath water should not be too hot, about 37°C. The duration of an alkaline bath is of special importance. In order to utilise the purifying effect, half an hour in the saline bathing water is the minimum, but one hour would be better. You can support the purifying effect of the bath by scrubbing your skin intensively with a bathing brush or a rough cloth every 5-10 minutes. In this way, the acids leaving the body can be removed from the skin.When the bath is over, the skin should only be dabbed dry, do not rub it hard. Relax after the bath. Directions
Place 5g of the vital substances mixture into a glass; in the enclosed measuring cup, this is approx. 10ml. Then add 30ml of pre-biotis to the mixture of vital substances. Now fill up the Rayoflora glass with approx. 200ml of water. Use a plastic spoon to stir the pre-biotic vital substances combination.
Vitalstoffkur is a pack consisting of Rayobase®plus, Rayosole and Rayoflora, sufficient for one month.
Drink Rayobase twice a day, in the morning and in the course of the day, and a portion of Rayoflora once a day, before going to sleep. Don?t take the two products at the same time. After taking Rayobase®plus you should not eat for the next 30 minutes. Also, you should not eat anything more at night after having taken Rayoflora. Both preparations should be taken at least approx. 2 hours after the last meal.
Besides taking the two preparations Rayobase®plus and Rayoflora, it is advisable to take two Rayosole baths per month. You should also take foot baths as often as possible with the remaining Rayosole.
Often, a slow ?leading-in therapy? is preferable. You should not take the full doses of Rayobase®plus and Rayoflora at once. Start with one spoonfull of Rayobase®plus per day.Usually it is best to divide this one spoonfull into two portions. The same goes for Rayoflora. Instead of taking 5g of the vital substances mixture at the beginning, start with 2.5g and increase the dose steadily after the first three days. 30ml of the pre-biotic, however, should be taken from the start.
