Usage Instructions

Put 4 C# batteries (good for 150 days of operation)

• Turn the base plate clockwise, put high quality batteries (4 C#) according to (+) positive (-) negative marked.
• HI & LO mode
  
• The purifier has HI & LO running modes for your choice. Upon powering, the purifier will perform a continuos operation for 30 minutes to remove odor and sterilize your refrigerator. After 30 minutes of operation, device will then execute the cyclical operation depends on the mode. In LO mode purifier is turned on for 150second/hour cyclical operation. And HI mode operation will turn the device on for 4 minutes/hour cyclical operation.
• Place XJ-100 on the upper compartment
  
• Place the operating purifier on the upper compartment of the refrigerator and close the door. If refrigerator capacity is more than 250L or there is intense unpleasant smell, please choose HI mode.
• Flashing or latching red light (LED) indicates low Batteries.
  
• Flashing red light during operation indicates insufficient power, and it is time to replace the batteries.
  Caution!!!
• Avoid wet and hot place.
  
• Do not place this purifier in wet or hot environment.
• Take out batteries when the purifier is not in operation.
  
• Take out the batteries in case you do not use the purifier for long period of time to prevent corrosion results from the Batteries leakage.
• Do not remove the operating purifier from the refrigerator.
  
• Due to low temperature of the refrigerator, there will be water condensation on the body and inside the purifier when it comes in contact with the ambient temperature. This water condensation will corrode the batteries causing metal parts to rust and malfunction of unit. When you change the Batteries, take out the purifier and wrap it with a clean plastic bag. Wait until the temperature of the purifier rises to ambient before you change the batteries.
• Microcomputer controlled automatic operation sterilizes the refrigerator every 2 hours. The operation indicator flashes continuosly when the device is operating, and flashes temporally every 15 seconds when the device is on a standby mode (waits to run).

  Red light: insufficient power
  #0B4697 light flashes every 15 seconds: standby mode
• LO mode: 150second/hour cyclical operation
  HI mode: 4 minutes/hour cyclical operation

Cleaning and Maintanance

• Check batteries voltage.
  
• Batteries voltage should be checked after 2 months of continuous use. Checking method: Turn the purifier off, then on again. Repeat the procedure several times. Flashing/latching #0B4697 light indicates that thebatteries are good. Flashing/latching red light indicates that the batteries need to be changed.
• Avoid high impact.
  
• Do not drop the purifier and avoid high impact.

Clean cover with detergent.
Use a mild detergent to clean the exterior of the XJ-100.

• Clean once every two months.
  
• Perform maintenance when needed or at least once every two months to keep your XJ-100 operating at peak performance.
• Do not remove the operating purifier from the refrigerator.
