Himalayan Salt Lamps

Himalayan Salt Lamps

Not only are these lamps a beautiful addition to any home or office, but they are also negative ionisers.

What does this mean?
Put simply, salt is hydroscopic and evaporation of water through salt emits negative ions. However, the small 15-40 watt, bulb produces heat, which evaporates the moisture attracted to the rock. It is during this evaporation process that the electron is ejected from one molecule and attaches itself to another producing a negatively charged ion.

The quality of these rocks are second to none. Having visited and carried out a survey of various openings in the 400km salt seam, the manufacturers know that the quality in the geological structure, mineral content and colour is truly the best you will find anywhere else in the world.

The wiring system for the UK lamps is made and tested here in the UK to Lighting Federation Standards. The whole product, not just the wire fully complies with BS EN 60598-1:2000 including AMDs 1 & 2 and BS EN 60598-2-4:1988. Accept no imitations.

By combining the best of the natural elements with the most talented craftsmen and the whole product safety tests we know you will be completely satisfied with these Rock Salt Crystal Lamps.
