Hawthorn is a traditional herb used for cardiac problems. However, less known reported anecdotal benefits (no clinical trials) have been found for Diarrhoea, Pharyngitis or anti-cholesterol use. It usually takes one to two months before the effects of Hawthorn become noticeable. NOTE: persons using Digitalis should only use Hawthorn under the supervision of their physician.
