In this group, our pomegranate juice is gaining in popularity because pomegranates are a source of polyphenols and other antioxidants. The juices show an antioxidant activity three times higher than those of red wine and green tea. Moreover, a tannin-fraction isolated from pomegranate juice had a significantly beneficial activity.
