What is apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider vinegar or also known as ACV is a form of vinegar (sour wine or sour liquid) created by fermentation of apple juices. While the fermentation is taking place, sugars in the apple cider juice are broken down by yeast and bacteria. In this process of fermentation the juices turn into alcohol and then into vinegar. As with many types of vinegars, apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid and also lactic, citric & malic acid.

What is apple Cider good for

Apple Cider Vinegar has been highly regarded for hundreds of years. In 400 B.C.  Hippocrates, Father of Medicine, used it for its amazing health qualities. And the Egyptians were reported to use it for health benefits including weight loss. Over the many years the benefits of apple cider vinegar have been well documented and promoted by many well known authors and practitioners, Dr Jarvis (Dr Jarvis recommended apple cider vinegar and honey), Paul C. Bragg and Patricia Bragg.

Why do we only sell the capsules and not the liquid

As a result of  information such as above, Health Leads conducted market research with customers and found many want to take apple cider vinegar but really cannot bear the taste. So we have manufactured  ACV in capsule form - 300mg x 90 gelatin capsules. Also, capsules are a great alternative if you are worried about protecting your teeth enamel.
