In Ayurvedic medicine, which is native to India and surrounding countries, turmeric has been used for over 3000 years. Turmeric has the active component called curcumin and this is what the Ayurveda (traditional medicine doctors) believe helps support health in a number of ways.
Caution: Turmeric may slow blood clotting, therefore do not use if you currently take blood thinners.
Turmeric should be avoided by people with gallstones, gallbladder disease or liver disease.
Why do Health Leads not use bulking agents or other materials?
It is good to know that Health Leads encapsulated products only contain the pure herbs, no bulking agents, anti-caking agents, Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate or Stearic Acid. These extra materials are not added to provide nutritional value, they simply make it easier for the main powdered product to flow through the machines used to fill capsules and make tablets. They prevent the active ingredients from sticking, which makes the machinery easier to clean, and reduces the down time periods required for cleaning. Bulking agents make the capsule look as though it contains more product. At Health Leads we believe these materials should not be added and there are many reports showing that these are harmful.

Most orders are sent by either 1st class Royal Mail or if requested by Couier.

RETURNS
If you have changed your mind about keeping an item we understand and we happily accept returns within 30 days, as long as the item is unopened and returned in original condition we are happy to provide a full refund for the item or exchanged for goods of the same value. Please note that due to the hygienic nature of some oral and body care products we are unable to accept items back where the packaging seal has been breached.
