What is Coral Calcium?
Coral Calcium is a mineral powder comprised of ground coral sand.
The coral is made by a small sea creatures secretions; it ingests the ocean minerals and secretes them into a coral formation.

The primary Japanese company harvesting Coral Calcium from those waters is under strict Japanese government regulations to ensure the preservation of the coral reefs off of Okinawa. No living reef is ever used in the harvesting of Coral Calcium. The coral that they use is harvested from the non-living coral sands beneath the sea that are a specified distance away from the living reefs to ensure no possibility of damage to the reefs. This is both a sustainable and environmentally friendly operation.

We are pleased to inform you, that after several controls carried out by the manufacturer and supplier of coralline sand in its form CCP-44 and applying Elisa tests to determine the presence of possible traces of crustaceans in these products, the results have been negative. Therefore it is not necessary to declare any allergen in this product.
