Rosehips are the fruit-like seed pods that remain after a flowering rose has withered and died. These pods are a rich source of vitamins (especially Vitamin C and A) and antioxidants that support the immune system and contribute to the healthy formation of skin, bones and connective tissue.
High strength Rosehip Extract contains 250mg standardised extract, equivalent to 5,000mg of whole Rosehips. In other words, the extract in our capsules has been condensed to 20x the strength of the whole plant.
As well as being a great source of Vitamin C, it is helpful in other ways also. In recent clinical trials, pain relief was seen when 5000mg of Rosehip powder was provided to those with osteoarthritis and the relief was significantly better than those that were given a placebo, leading patients to use fewer standard analgesics. These studies caused The Telegraph to write that Rosehip is ‘better at reducing pain in patients than paracetamol.’
One capsule per day with a meal.

Rarely we may have to use a natural filler but research carefully those we do use, such as rice flour.
