It seems that Swedish Bitters were originally formulated by Paracelsus (an ancient physician and botanist known for his contributions to medicine). Then in the 1700’s it was rediscovered by Swedish doctors Dr. Urban Hjärne and Dr. Claus Samst. Now it has been highlighted by the Austrian herbalist Maria Treben through her book Health Through God's Pharmacy.
Maria Treben writes at length about the positive properties of Swedish Bitters for treating topical afflictions along with other ailments.
She states that "there is hardly any [condition] where Swedish Bitters is not of benefit, or at least effective as a basis for every treatment."
Health Leads makes no medical claims for the herbal powers of the Swedish Bitters recipe.
1ml to 3ml diluted in water 3 times a day.
